For those of you who don't know, Ethan started playing basketball this season for Lake Pointe. It was a rough start and a little overwhelming for him. He isn't an aggressive person, by nature. And he likes order and direction in most everything he does. 6-8 year old basketball is NONE of those things. None. It's chaos, it's aggression, it's madness. It's crazy. However, as he has progressed through the season, he's been taking more risks and having a lot more fun with it. In fact, last Saturday, he made his first in-game basket. He's definitely making strides and is enjoying it immensely. I jokingly call him Mama's Lil' LeBron. He wants to be Dirk (Nowitzki)instead. Can't argue with that except, um, babydoll, Dirk's height is not in your genetics. Mommy's so sorry. :)
