Catching up...

So, things have been crazy. Seriously. I had to neglect the blog in favor of graduating with my Master's in Education. I did it. I did it with a 4.0. Go big or go home, right? I graduated and have been going nonstop since then.
Here's what we've been up to since then in shorthand:
*Ethan finished his STAAR tests with commended in Reading and excelled in Math. He's moving onto 4th grade and is so science hungry- we cannot keep up.
*Caden was enrolled (and attended Kindergarten round-up) and will start Kindergarten next year at Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary with Ethan and me.
*I taught science and social studies for 5th grade this year. It was not something I was confident I could do when I found out my assignment at the beginning of last year, BUT I LOVED IT! OMG! I learned more than what my previous teachers had taught me just by teaching my students. I designed a Science Night and it makes me giggle because if you Google our school's name, my Science Night comes up as the 2nd result. Dorky to be excited about, but I am.
*Brian has been working and doing his engineer thing while restoring a truck his grandfather passed on to him.
*My baby sister will be getting married August 31st and then will head to Seoul with her husband.
*I have a new admin team at work who I love. My boss is this impassioned person about education and balancing work with family- making sure family comes first. She's a mom with a kid between the ages of mine and she has been a huge supporter as I have been muddling through new subject areas and my degree.

There has been a lot of stuff going on, but it literally would take me weeks to recall and post about them all.

I can't believe I am done with 3 years of school!
